The 2G Solid Post and Strainer have a pressure treated solid, wooden core surrounded by a protective layer of polyethylene. They are pointed at the tip for ground penetration and have a flat cap suitable for manual or mechanical installation. 

Wire is attached by fencing methods using nails and staples.
